Molly Hill Patten

Molly Hill Patten brings to Bowersock Capital Partners over twenty years of experience helping early to mid-stage companies build the foundation for long-term sustainable growth. Before working with the firm, Molly held several c-suite positions, most recently as chief operating officer of Sitka, a venture-backed, telehealth platform connecting primary care providers to specialists, significantly reducing unnecessary referrals and saving patients time and money.

Molly attended Yale University, earning a BA in History while business managing a cappella singing groups, including Whim ‘n Rhythm, Yale’s all-senior SSAA group that performs around the world, from New Haven to Hong Kong. Upon graduation in 1996, she began her career as an equity research analyst on Wall Street where her team placed third in The Wall Street Journal All Star Analyst roster. After getting her MBA at UVA’s Darden School of Business, Molly spent a decade working for AOL co-founder Steve Case and his investment firm Revolution, where she worked for several early-stage, venture-backed portfolio companies across a variety of industries putting the infrastructure for scale into place. Following Revolution, Molly held senior positions in both non-profit and for-profit ventures. In 2016 she joined Aledade, a health tech startup where in 2017 she was named Financial Executive of the Year by the Maryland Tech Council. In 2022, Molly started her own consulting firm, Zephyr Insights, LLC, providing outsourced COO and CFO services to small to mid-sized companies, including Bowersock Capital Partners.

Molly is invested in improving her community. She is currently serving as treasurer of the Board of Trustees for Rock Creek Conservancy, the philanthropic and stewardship partner to the entirety of Rock Creek (National) Park, and chair of the audit committee for The News Literacy Project, a nonpartisan education nonprofit building a national movement to create a more news-literate America.

Molly lives in Washington, DC with her husband Bryan. Together they have two children and two adopted tabby cats. They enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling, more often than not to their hometowns of Lawrence, Kansas and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
