Adrienne Boyd-Akers

Bringing decades of experience in banking and customer service, Adrienne joined our team at Bowersock Capital Partners in 2023 as our Executive Assistant and Office Manager. She looks for opportunities every day to ensure our clients are receiving the very best in customer service.

After growing up in the military, including living coast-to-coast and overseas, Adrienne moved to Lawrence to attend the University of Kansas, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. Minus one year spent in California, Adrienne has lived in Kansas since her college days and has made Lawrence her home.

Adrienne enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children. They have adopted numerous pets over the years from the Lawrence Humane Society and currently have two cats and two dogs. Her hobbies include reading and playing backgammon or sudoku. She gives back to her community as a current volunteer and former treasurer of the local non-profit organization, 100 Good Women. She and her family also pick pears each fall to donate fresh fruit to the local food bank, Just Food, which provides food to those in need in Douglas County, KS.
